Every day, you bend down and pick things up, put things over your head, sit down and stand up, and play with your kids. Our CrossFit programs mimics these everyday movements and through combined elements of cardio, weight lifting, core training we lift objects from the ground, jump, run, throw, and pull ourselves up. These are functional exercises, and they work extremely well.

That’s one of the best features about our CrossFit program. It doesn’t matter what you do or what size and shape you are. If you want to improve your strength, speed, endurance, mobility, flexibility and quality of life, then CrossFit is for you. You do not have to be in any kind of shape to start CrossFit. The hardest of part of changing your life is taking that first step.

At CrossFit Frostbite, we offer group-based classes throughout the day. There is one WOD (“workout of the day”) per day, which every class performs. Each hour class starts with a warm-up, followed by cached and skill & techniques work to prepare you for that day’s WOD, followed by any combination of strength work, skill practice, and/or the WOD itself. In other words, every day is different, but fun as you’ll quickly learn.

Yes, completely normal. For most of us, participating in any training program is a big change, and change is scary. But here at CrossFit Frostbite, we have men and women of all fitness levels, and of all ages. Businessmen, housewives, teachers, high school and college athletes, and even grandparents all do the same workout but at their own level of intensity.

First, you should never use the word “diet.” It implies a beginning and an end. At CrossFit Frostbite, we believe exercise is only part of the equation in achieving your health and fitness goals. The food you put into your body directly impacts your success.
Our goal is to create long term nutrition/fitness habits that stay with you forever. Having good nutritional habits is always encouraged, but is never required to start or stay in CrossFit. However, studies suggest that starting a nutrition and fitness regimen simultaneously creates much better chances at long term success.

Nope. Our Onboarding class prepares new CrossFitters to safely and comfortably join group classes with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful. Through Onboarding you will gain an understanding of the foundational movements, scaling options for all workouts, CrossFit jargon, equipment used, and an overall idea of what a ‘typical day’ will be like training at CrossFit Frostbite.
