CLASSES

CrossFit:
This class combines strength training, endurance training, short high intensity interval training, and various skill based movement training into a comprehensive program. Through a mix of aerobic exercise (running, jump rope, rowing), calisthenics (pull-ups, pushups, air squats), and weightlifting (barbells, dumbbells, kettle bells), CrossFit gives you a well rounded health and fitness routine that builds better core strength, stamina, coordination, agility, and balance.
Bootcamp:
This class is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity so that you are pushed to develop cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. The workouts are designed to be light weight or body weight, longer time frame, and fast paced. This gives you a full body workout with a combination of lower and upper body movements, core strength concentration, and cardio in the form of running, rowing, jumping rope, etc.
Open Gym:
This time gives members access to the gym and equipment during scheduled open gym hours. Regular Open Gym requires members have a basic understanding of CrossFit movements and have developed good training habits in terms of scaling and safety. A staff member will always be present, but availability of a coach is not guaranteed, except during Coached Open Gym.
Coached Open Gym:
Specific to Thursdays, Coached Open Gym is an ideal time to come if you’ve missed a day earlier in the week, will miss a day in the future, or have some specific fitness goals you’d like to work on. A coach will be on duty at all times to assist you with explanations of workouts, correct form, and of course, provide encouragement. Don’t worry about being confined to a specific time – just show up at whatever time works best for you and get a great workout!
